Firefighters responded to a boiler fire in Port Erin yesterday.
Crews from Castletown, Port Erin and Peel were called to Marashen Crescent at just after 7:30am on Sunday.
The occupants of the house found the oil boiler at the rear of their property had caught fire.
Two people were in the building at the time and were able to evacuate the house as the door to the boiler room was closed.
They were alerted by working smoke alarms which were fitted throughout the property.
Officers used a hose-reel to extinguish the flames. Crews were on scene for around 30 minutes.
