Two year ban for drink driver

A man who lost control of his car which crashed through a bridge and into a river has been given a two year ban.
Benjamin Bamber from Ramsey crashed the vehicle on August 25th.
The 22-year-old hid in nearby bushes to evade police but eventually made himself known to them.
Bamber was arrested and taken to Police Headquarters where a breath test showed he was double the legal limit.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes inposed a two-year driving ban, fined £1000 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £125.
