Coastguard helps stricken bikers

Coastguard crews were called out to help a group of stranded off-road bikers.

Two adults and a child had been riding at Sky Hill in Ramsey on Sunday afternoon when their bikes broke down.

The weather left the group very cold and unable to get back down to Crossags Lane without assistance.

An ambulance crew was waiting to assess the group, and the coastguard team was back at the station without two hours of being called out.
