Coastguard teams search for vessel in distress

Two of the Island's coastguard teams were called out after Belfast Coastguard received a distress call.

The location of the vessel was unclear, so Peel and Ramsey crews were asked to take part in a search.

The callout was received shortly before 1.30pm yesterday, but both teams were stood down at 3.10pm after finding nothing, while Belfast Coastguard continued with the search.
