Coastguard helps evacuate diver

A diver had to be flown off Island for medical treatment after getting into difficulty off the coast of the Island.

A Coastguard helicopter was called to evacuate the diver shortly before 4.30pm yesterday.

Douglas Coastguard also attended the scene, helping with the landing of the helicopter.

There's no word on the condition of the diver.
