Over 200 dispensing errors at pharmacies in last five years

Pharmacists on the Isle of Man have made over 200 dispensing errors in the last five years.

Since the 2012-13 financial year, 211 errors have been recorded, although pharmacies aren't legally required to report such mistakes.

Over 100 errors were recorded in the north of the Island, while just one errors has been made in the west.

Health Minister David Ashford revealed the figures in a written answer at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
