Ramsey lifeboat was launched to rescue a day vessel that had broken down around four miles east of Maughold Head.
The team was called out shortly before 6.30pm yesterday after the small boat suffered a seized engine.
The RNLI crew reached the vessel around half an hour after launching and established a tow, but decided to take the vessel to Douglas due to the tidal conditions in Ramsey.
None of the three occupants on the day vessel were injured, and they arrived at the visitors' pontoon in Douglas Harbour shortly before 9pm.
It's the third time Ramsey lifeboat has been called out this week and the fourth time during TT.
