Expanding kerbside recycling on the Isle of Man will be considered by Tynwald later this year.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer confirmed in this week's sitting of the House of Keys that adding kerbside recycling to more areas will be considered as part of the Waste Strategy, which is due before the Island's parliament in July.
Douglas, Braddan and Malew are the only areas currently offering kerbside recycling after Port St Mary ended its scheme last month.
The Minister confirmed work on the Waste Strategy will include considering the benefits of standardising waste collection operations.
