Charity appeals for help replacing cat traps

A local animal charity is appealing for funds after two of its humane cat traps were damage beyond use.

The ManxSPCA has been working to trap, treat and neuter a colony of feral cats in Peel, but a welfare officer discovered two traps had been completed smashed up.

The organisation says it's devastated that someone would deliberately damage the traps as it prevents sick cats from being treated.

The charity hopes to replace the traps as soon as possible so it can continue to treat the colony, and has opened a Just Giving page to appeal for donations.
