Met Office issues amber weather warning

An amber weather warning is in place this morning with flooding and coastal overtopping expected.
Ronaldsway Met Office is forecasting large waves breaking onto exposed coastal roads and promenades around high tide this lunchtime.
The areas most at risk include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade and the northern end of Douglas Promenade, as well as the inner harbours in Douglas, Castletown and Ramsey.
The warning will remain in place until 3pm.
