Storm Emma could affect sailings for three days

The Steam Packet Company is warning sailings over the next three days could be disrupted due to Storm Emma.
Winds reaching severe gale force nine are forecast in the Irish Sea over the next couple of days.
As a result, the Island's ferry operator warning this evening's crossing to Heysham at 7.45pm could be cancelled or disrupted, along with all of Thursdays and Fridays services.
An update on tonight's service will be made by 5.30pm today, while a further announcement about tomorrow's and Friday's sailings will be issued at 2pm.
