Speaker wants SAVE update

The work of the Government's SAVE programme will be discussed in Tynwald next week.

Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson is seeking an update on the progress of the scheme.

The Government sought suggestions from the public on how to save money, with 1300 responses submitted by Manx residents.

Tresaury Minister Alfred Cannan is being asked to revealed what work has been undertaken by the SAVE Team over the last year.

It had been hoped the programme would help the Government as it aims to save £25m over five years.
