Two local authorities in the south of the Island will be increasing their rate for the 2018-19 financial year.
Arbory Parish Commissioners has announced a 2.6% rise, putting the levy up from 117p to 120p.
The board says the increase was necessary due to inflation and in order to fund more activities for the area's younger residents.
Rushen Parish Commissioners are putting their rate up by 3.2% - increasing from 95p to 98p.
Residents in Rushen will also have to pay an extra £2 per household as the Commissioners are putting the refuse charge up from £65 to £67.
The authority hopes the increase will fund plans for new recreational areas as well as upgraded street lighting.
