Green damaged at golf course

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to a green at Ramsey Golf Club.

The green off Crossags Lane behind Ramsey Grammar School East building was targeted overnight on Friday into Saturday.

Officers believe the damage is consistent with a sharp object being used to scratch initials into the green.

The golf club has also recently had problems with youths riding their bikes over the greens.

Anyone who can help police find those responsible is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
