Garff Commissioners will freeze rates for a third year.
However, ratepayers in Lonan and Maughold will see a small increase, while those in Laxey get a reduction as part of the rates equalisation process agreed when the three areas joined together to make the Garff local authority.
The Commissioners insist the overall rate income to the authority will be the same as in 2016-17, despite an increase to the Retail Prices Index and higher charges at the energy from waste plant.
The board believes it can absorb the rising costs while maintaining its reserves.
