Tynwald has approved additional funds of £9.5m to ensure the Department of Health and Social Care has enough money to continue providing its services until the end of the current financial year.
The DHSC had to ask for more money for the third year in a row at this month's sitting.
The Island's parliament also gave the go-ahead to a review into the Island's healthcare system and how it's funded.
The Department has undertaken a range of cost cuts in recent months in a bid to cut down its overspending, including ending recruitment of non-essential staff and ending its financial support for Meals on Wheels.
