Almost half of the students who took GCSE ICT at one of the Island's secondary schools last year failed to secure an A* - C grade pass.
301 pupils across four of the five secondary schools took the course, with 155 achieving C grade or higher in 2017.
Ramsey Grammar School had the lowest A* - C pass rate, with 13 of the 34 pupils on the course securing the grade, although the school also offered Computer Science, which saw 15 of 20 pupils claiming C grades or higher.
Students at QEII take BTEC ICT instead, with 22 out of 27 passing with a C or higher, while the other secondary schools also offered other computer and IT based subjects in addition to ICT which saw higher pass rates.
