A local business is still hoping to run a Christmas ice rink this year, despite failing to get planning permission.
Tynwald Mills has hosted a temporary ice rink in a marquee for the last three years, but was refused permission to do the same this year.
The company provided an update, insisting that it is still working with authorities to get temporary permission for the marquee to stay up over Christmas.
However, the deadline for committing to staff and equipment is approaching and they have been unable to reach an agreement so far.
Over 11,000 people used the ice rink last year, while more than £25,000 was raised for good causes by the facility's sponsors.
