Ramsey MHKs offer help to Raymotors

Ramsey's MHKs are hoping a car dealer will be able to re-open in their constituency.

Alex Allinson and Lawrie Hooper have reached out to Raymotors with offers of help after the business went into liquidation.

Last week a court heard that the business was financially viable, but a fallout between the owners and tax returns not being filed had resulted in problems.

Dr Allinson posted on his Facebook page, revealing that he and Mr Hooper have offered their assistance, and that they hope the petrol station, tyre centre and car showroom can re-open soon.

Almost 30 people lost their jobs when they were suddenly told not to come to work last week.
