Manx cyclists Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh narrowly missed out on victory at the Six Day London track cycling event.
The duo needed to gain a lap in the final race of the competition to take the title, but couldn't close the gap in the final minutes of the Madison Chase event.
Cavendish and Kennaugh finished with more points than any other pairing, but had to settle for second after completing one lap fewer than Australian duo Callum Scotson and Cameron Meyer.
It's the second year in a row than Cavendish has had to settle for second, having finished as runner-up with Sir Bradley Wiggins at last year's event.
Points are awarded to the pairings based on their finishing positions over six days, but duos drop down the leaderboard if they lose a lap.
