High winds greeted the 19 shooters who took part in the sixth and final round of the winner of Ayre Clay Target Club’s Harding Lewis sponsored English Sporting League shoot at Blue Point on Sunday. Kevin Oates was the winner with a score of 39/50. Marty Kneen was second on 38 with Phil Butler taking third on 34. Oates took the league win from Kneen with Butler finishing the season in third place.

A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 39/50; 2 Marty Kneen 38; 3, Phil Butler 34.
B Class: 1, Jason Bulliment 24; 2, Richie Howland 22.
C Class: 1, James Bradley 24; 2= Fred Waggett and Tony Tongue 23.
This week at Blue Point is the annual Club All Round competition comprising 25 each of English Skeet, Down the Line, English Sporting and ABT. Entries close at 10.15am.
