A new provider will take over orthodontic treatment for children later this month.
The Department of Health and Social Care has announced that Regent Dental Care in Douglas has been awarded the contract to provide orthodontic services to kids.
Orthodontic care is currently available through the Department to children under 18 who meet specific clinical requirements.
Regent Dental Care will take over the service from October 30th, but is already working with the Department to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
Those already receiving treatment will carry on doing so a the Central Community Health Centre on Westmoreland Road until the end of December, before continuing their treatment at the new provider's practice in Douglas.
