Unemployment falls during September

Unemployment on the Isle of Man fell to its lowest level since June 2004 last month.

At the end of September there were 338 Manx residents registered as unemployed - giving an unemployment rate of 0.8%.

The total is 55 fewer than in August and down by 254 compared with September 2016.

The figure is also the lowest for a September since 2003.
