Armed police called to Douglas incident

Investigations are ongoing following an incident which resulted in armed police being called out in Douglas earlier.

The area at the top of Broadway and Ballaquayle Road was cordoned off for several hours due to the situation.

The scene is now open to the public again, but the Isle of Man Constabulary says its officers are still in the area conducting enquiries.

No further details have been released at this time.
