The Government wants to appoint a person to investigate complaints against Government Departments and public bodies.
It's hoped the Tynwald Commissioner for Administration will bring a further degree of challenge and scrutiny to the work of the Isle of Man Government.
The Cabinet Office says the Commissioner will provide independent oversight and make the Government more accountable.
The Government is looking for someone with a legal qualification and extensive knowledge of Isle of Man laws to take up the post on a one-year contract.
Full details about the post are available on the Government's website.
