Roadworks schemes get underway on Circular Road, Business Park

Two roadworks schemes get underway on busy roads around Douglas today.

Circular Road will be one-way heading towards the town centre while plane and overlay work is undertaken by the Department of Infrastructure.

Upper Church Street will also be restricted to cars heading from Circular Road to Athol Street until October 9th.

Meanwhile, the road through the Isle of Man Business Park will be closed for the next four weeks for resurfacing works.

The route will be shut between Cooil Road and Ballacottier Meadow for highway reconstruction and overlay works, although the road may open under temporary traffic lights on some days if work allows.
