Racing cancelled due to weather conditions

Today's Festival of Motorcycling schedule has been cancelled due to the weather conditions.

Clerk of the course Gary Thompson has announced the poor visibility and saturated roads will prevent Monday's racing schedule from going ahead.

The road closure had initially been delayed this morning to allow conditions to improve, but the decision to postpone the racing was taken following a further inspection.

The races that were due to take place today will now be held tomorrow, with organisers announcing the full schedule in due course.
