Braddan Commissioners want to make changes to their plans for a multipurpose Community Centre in Strang.
The local authority had planning permission for the facility approved last year, but has now submitted a new application making alterations to the proposals.
The new plans would result in a smaller facility, which the application says would result in significant cost savings.
The proposed sports hall would be slightly smaller, while the seating for spectators would be cut from 280 to 120, while the Commissioners Offices and opticians would also be reduced in size.
The centre, which would be built in Strang Corner Field, would also include a pharmacy, dental practice, cafe, yoga studio and day care nursery, as well as parking for over 70 cars.
