Witnesses sought after drivers tailgate police vehicle

Police are appealing for information after one of their vehicles was tailgated over the Mountain Road while responding to an incident.

The police vehicle was responding to a 999 call when it was heading from Ramsey to Douglas with blue lights and sirens on Saturday afternoon.

The Roads Policing Unit revealed the vehicle was tailgated by one or more vehicles, which it says is dangerous.

The incident happened between 1.20pm and 1.30pm on Saturday.
