Over £750 was spent sending Manx representatives to the consecration of the Island's new bishop.
Peter Eagles was consecrated in a ceremony at York Minster last month, with Chief Minister Howard Quayle, Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney and Lady Gozney in attendance.
A Freedom of Information request revealed travel for the trio cost over £550, while a further £169 was spent on accommodation for the Chief Minister.
The Governor didn't incur any accommodation expenses, as he and Lady Gozney stayed with the Archbishop of York, while the cost of their return flight wasn't included in the figures, as they had further business in Liverpool.
The response to the information request states attendance of such events is expected as part of their roles.
