Thu, 06 Jul 2017
Petrol bikes and electric bikes will line up together on the start line at the Southern 100 later this month.
It will be the first time e-bikes have been alongside conventional bikes at an international mass-start road race.
The electric machines will compete in the lightweight class, which also includes 125cc, 400cc and Moto3 machines.
The meeting gets underway on the Billown Circuit in the south of the Island next Tuesday.
