Police warn of scammers claiming to be from Government

Police are warning of scammers claiming to be from the Government targeting people from the Island.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says complaints have been received about callers falsely claiming to be Government representatives.

The caller tells their victim they need to attend their house to remove the boiler and install a new one.

Officers are urging anyone who receives such a call not to give their details to the caller.
