Police hope crash footage will encourage safe riding

Police are warning motorcyclists of the risks of a moment's loss of concentration after releasing the video of a crash in the south of the Island.

A biker slid off the bike while riding towards Round Table yesterday morning, normally missing another rider travelling in the opposite direction.

The rider coming the other way was wearing a helmet camera, and let police share the footage on their social media pages to show others what can happen.

Officers confirmed the rider who crashed is recovering well from the injuries she sustained in the incident.
