Fri, 02 Jun 2017
Cyclists were barely visible on the Mountain Road in foggy conditions yesterday
Police are urging cyclists to reconsider plans to rider over the Mountain Road today.
Officers have been made aware of plans for a group of people to ride on the Mountain Road later today.
Cyclists aren't banned from the route during TT, but police warn slow-moving pedal bikes don't mix well with fast-moving cars and motorbikes.
Officers will be waiting at the Hairpin to speak to cyclists and attempt to dissuade them from taking the route.
