Fancy a game of Water Polo?

Mon, 15 May 2017

A taster session for adults interested in playing water polo will be held at King William's College pool tonight, Monday 15th May, 7-8pm. Regular training sessions will then be held on Mondays 7-8pm at KWC, starting Monday 5th June. Players of all levels, from beginners to those who are more experienced are encouraged to attend. Sessions will be led by Lottie Wood, former UK National League player, with a long-term view of developing into a thriving, competitive club. Lottie states, "water polo is a fantastic team sport, particularly for people with a swimming background. It's very physical and tactical, and great for ball skills and general fitness." The club has good links with UK water polo teams and there are plans afoot for the former GB women's captain to come to the island later in the year to lead a masterclass training session.

Sessions are priced at £5 per person. For further details, please contact Lottie Wood on 244 500 or lottiemorris@live.co.uk.
