Motorists urged to lock cars after cash stolen

Police are reminding the Manx public of the importance of locking vehicles after cash was taken from an unlocked car in the south of the Island.

The money was stolen from a vehicle parked in Colby over the weekend.

Officers from the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team insist the Island is a safe place to live, but that such incidents can be prevented by locking cars.

Anyone who can help police catch the thief is asked to contact Castletown Police Station.
