The Infrastructure Minister says stricter rules preventing motorhomes being parked on Manx roads are on the way.
Ray Harmer confirmed his Department is looking to change the current laws, including allowing traffic wardens and parking controllers to issue tickets to those who break the rules.
Currently, only police officers can target those who park motorhomes on the street through a summary action.
However, the Minister believes the Island's local authorities will need to provide more motorhome-friendly parking facilities.
It's illegal to park vehicles over 2540kg on a road subject to a speed limit between 6pm and 7am on weekdays as well as all day at the weekend.
