Met Office issue ice warning

he Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for this morning following wintry showers overnight.

Last night's sleet and snow is expected to have left some areas icy this morning, with slushy accumulations in other areas.

The ice is mainly forecast to be an higher ground, but the Met Office warns some sheltered areas in the East of the Island could also be affected.

Conditions are expected to improve from 9am.
