Manx Government sets up Brexit fund
Wed, 22 Feb 2017
£1m will be put aside by the Treasury to fund issues raised by Brexit.
The Manx Government will keep the money to one side as the UK negotiates its exit from the European Union.
The Government has repeatedly insisted it does not know how Britain's withdrawal from the EU will affect the Island.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan hopes the fund will be used to give the Island immediate access to resources as required.
Mr Cannan also admitted the fund could increase in the coming years.
