Ramsey MHK seeks transport interchange update

The future of Ramsey bus station will be discussed when the House of Keys sits next week.

MHK for the area Alex Allinson wants an update on plans to build a Ramsey Transport Interchange in the town.

Plans to develop a single depot for buses, trams and parking at the site of the current Manx Electric Railway station were submitted in 2014.

Dr Allinson is also keen to know what will happen to the current bus station site if the plans progress.

Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer will provide the update on Tuesday.
