Roads police find drugs

The Island's roads police have made a second drugs arrest in a week.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit warned that anyone caught breaking the law while using the Island's roads network would be targeted after stopping a suspected drugs dealer before Christmas.

Following that arrest, another person was stopped last night carrying drugs and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A substance.

An investigation is underway following the discovery.
