Lighting stolen from Ramsey restaurant

Police in the north of the Island are appealing for information after lighting was stolen from a restaurant.

Two large spherical lighting balls were taken from the front patio at Vellika's Restaurant on Bowring Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white BMW who was heading north in the direction of the Cottage Hospital who may have seen the person responsible carrying the items.

Police are also interested to hear from anyone who was waiting at the bus stop opposite the restaurant who may have seen something significant.

Members of the public are urged to get in touch if they are offered the items for sale or have spotted the lighting features discarded near their homes.

Anyone who can help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
