A campaign aiming to help the Manx public get home safely while celebrating over the festive season has launched on social media.
The Drink Safe, Drive Safe, Go Safe page has been set up by Bus Vannin, Public Health and the Isle of Man Constabulary's Road Safety and Alcohol teams.
The page will be used to promote safety message in the run up to Christmas and into the New Year, such as reducing alcohol intake, leaving cars at home on nights out and planning safe modes of transport home.
The police have already used the campaign to highlight a number of tips, including using the festive bus timetables and booking a taxi, as well as avoiding lifts from drivers who may have been drinking or using drugs.
More advise can be found on the campaign's Facebook page.
