Fire crews were called out in the south of the Island after a firework caused a blaze in a field.
Firefighters from Port Erin were contacted shortly before 8pm on Monday after the stray firework set fire to vegetation in a nearby field.
The team needed to use a six-wheeled off road vehicle to get close enough to the fire, damping down hot spots to stop the spread of the fire, and also used beaters to control the fire.
The incident was one of a number of fires started by fireworks resulting in callouts for the Island's fire service around Bonfire Night.
