The Economic Development Minister insists the Island's economy is more diverse than it has ever been before.
Almost a fifth of the national income comes through the e-Gaming sector, while other e-Business areas make up a further 9%.
Facing a question about the diversity of the economy in Tynwald, Laurence Skelly revealed that over 20 export sectors are supported by his Department.
The Minister also highlighted the development of corporate aircraft and yacht registration and asset management over the last decade, as well as the creation of almost 100 jobs in clean tech.
However, he warned that the Island mustn't be complacent about the economy, confirming that his Department is working to identify new areas of business for the Island.
