Car crashes through fence on Mountain Road

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the Mountain Road.

A car crashed through fencing while heading towards Douglas on the Mountain Mile on Wednesday evening at around 8pm.

The vehicle behind was allegedly attempting to overtake the car, but made contact during the pass, resulting in the car in front veering down the hillside.

Officers admit it's fortunate no-one was injured during the incident.

Anyone who saw what happened or witnessed a grey or silver Citroen Picasso travelling in the area at the time is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
