Two drivers seriously injured in Gansey crash

The crash scene is swept ahead of the road re-opening.

Two motorists suffered serious limb and abdominal injuries in a crash in the south of the Island.

The collision involved a blue Hyundai 4x4 and a silver Vauxhall Corsa at 1pm yesterday on Shore Road in Gansey.

The road was closed for six hours while police carried out investigations into the crash and the scene was cleared.

Anyone who saw the incident or either vehicle being driven beforehand is asked to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222.
