The Island's abortion laws are coming under scrutiny in the UK media following the recent campaign to update the current legislation.
An article published online by 'The Independent' this morning describes the Manx law as 'vile', while referring to the Isle of Man as "the Island that feminism forgot".
The Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation - also known as Calm - wants to see Manx women given the same access to terminations as those in the UK.
Strict rules mean the majority of women currently seeking an abortion have to travel to the UK for the procedure.
It's estimated that more than 100 women went off Island for an abortion last year.
