It was a busy weekend for the Island's top cyclists as the Vuelta a Espana and Tour of Britain came to a conclusion.
Team Sky's Peter Kennaugh spent much of the day in the break in Spain as he looked for his first individual Grand Tour stage win, but the Manxman was caught shortly before the finish.
The 27-year-old wore the leader's red jersey early in the race after helping his team win the Team Time Trial on the opening day.
Meanwhile, Mark Christian secured a 12th-placed finish in the Tour of Britain.
The Team Wiggins rider was the third best British finisher, completing the event just over four minutes behind the winner.
There was no luck for Mark Cavendish though, as the former world champion finished the Tour without a stage win.
