Risk assessment needed before impersonation case can continue
Mon, 05 Sep 2016
Psychiatric assessments will be carried out before the case against a woman accused of impersonating a police officer will continue.
22-year-old Jodi-Layne Gush appeared before the Court of General Gaol Delivery on Friday.
The Douglas woman has also been charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon and affray - offences allegedly committed outside the Post Office on Regent Street on May 18th.
During the court hearing her advocate requested an adjournment whilst a risk assessment is carried out.
There was no application for bail and she was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until her next appearance on October 10th.
